KMS Redskin PRIDE

The Science Team got 22 out of 25 and placed second in the state of Indiana.

The Science Academic Superbowl team is another team that participated in the competition. It is managed by Mrs. Jennifer Allport with four members. The team consisted of Captain Jianna Allport, Jarin Allport, Colton Amidei, and Lane Mauck. Practices were every Tuesday until 4:00 PM in Mrs. Allport’s room.

Most questions for the Science section were about different female scientists and what they did.

In a test of 25 questions, the History Team got 11 correct answers.

The History Team is managed by Mr. Pontius, and consists of two members: Lane Mauck and Zachary Wehmer. They met every Thursday after school in Mr. Pontius’s room until 4:00 PM until their competition, which was after school on May 3rd.

This year, the competitions in all categories: Math, Science, History, and Language Arts, are focused around women and their achievements. Some of the more prevalent questions in the History section are questions about Woman Suffrage.
