Students must submit the attendance form on the eLearning Day in order to be considered present. If students are unable to complete the form or do not have internet, a parent and/or guardian must call and leave a message for Mrs. Hanselman, Student Services Secretary, at 574-772-1654. Assignment completion will also be reviewed as an additional attendance check.
Students will be informed of their learning targets and activities by 9:00 a.m. the morning of an eLearning Day (by 10:00 a.m., if district called a delay earlier that morning). Please remember, students may use a phone, laptop, or tablet to check assignments; any device that can connect to the internet can access Canvas.

What is eLearning?
Knox teachers currently create standards-based lessons that include electronic resources and assignments available through Canvas, the Learning Management System in use throughout our district. The use of eLearning will expand teachers’ ability to continue instruction in the event of an inclement weather day, on a make-up day for inclement weather, or on a planned day for other valid opportunities. On an eLearning day, instruction will continue without disruption; teachers will post assignments and be available electronically for student/parent assistance.
